Powerful engine yields 227 horsepower with 310 lb-ft of torque on regular gas which is great BUT unusually if you use Premium fuel it increases to 256 HP and 326 torque (you don't have to use premium fuel but it's neat to know you could do this now and then). Brake and suspension upgrades, too. But why CX-5 at all? It has dependability equal to Honda or Toyota but has a sportier driving feel. This car has all the luxury features you thought you could not afford. Turbo twin-cam 2.5 liter engine, All Wheel Drive, automatic with sport manual mode, alloy wheels, auto dual-zone climate control, leather interior with heated AND cooled front seats, heated steering wheel, navigation, power options include: tilt/slide moonroof/ windows/ locks/ both front seats/ rear hatch, folding mirrors, Bose HD stereo system with AM/FM/SiriusXM/Pandora and usb inputs, auto lighting with fog lights, keyless entry with 2 fobs and pushbutton start, alarm, regular and all weather mats and trunk mat, rear bumper protector, door sill guards, tilt/telescopic steering, radar pacing cruise control, rain=sensing auto wipers, Lane keeping System, Blind Spot Monitors with rear cross-traffic warning, accident and pedestrian avoidance system, heads=up display, much more.
